My running consistency is good these days and that's an accomplishment in itself given the heat this time of year. The idea of using this blog as a running journal has lost some of its luster primarily because I haven't had the time.
Anyhoo, lots of articles in The New York Times these days concerning exercise, nutrition, and recovery. Rather than try to summarize it, read a good overview here.
Because I have been running more, and on tired legs, I've been whipping up a slushy (9 ice cubes, 4oz. ice water, blended) drink of Endurox. I don't know if it's helping but superstition gets the best of you and I don't want to change my routine now.
